Operation Gratitude to Hold Memorial Day Program

Non-profit organization Operation Gratitude will celebrate Memorial Day by continuing its support of U.S. troops.

Operation Gratitude, a volunteer-led, non-profit group based in Van Nuys, will celebrate Memorial Day by continuing its quest to send one million individually addressed care packages to troops overseas.

Volunteers are encouraged to join Operation Gratitude on Saturday at 9 a.m. to noon for the morning shift, or from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the afternoon shift, as they continue to assemble and ship care packages to troops.

Operation Gratitude will also put on a Memorial Day program beginning at noon, between the two shifts.
