It was just brought to our attention through Life4Paws that it was passed in LA County that it isRead More illegal for all pet shops to sell animals. Unfortunately there is only one person in charge of this "task force" and it has already been made known that they will not be enforcing it. Supposedly our new Mayor is an animal lover so our group is hoping that with massive pressure everyone can get him to enforce it. Being a foster family has been very rewarding. Sometimes the kids do get more attached than we do but it is a good life lesson for them. If you know of anyone that might be interested in fostering please have them get in touch with either leaving a message on this thread or send an email to life4paws@life4paws.org. The more fosters we have the more dogs we can save! They provide everything the dog will need. (food, collar, leash and all approved medical care) all the foster provides is a safe home and love! I was stopped coming out of the neighborhood by police. They said they were looking for a whiteRead More male, 5'10 with a tan shirt on who they were chasing in a car. He apparently dumped the car near Greenleaf and Davana Terrace and fled in the neighborhood. Not sure what he did or if they caught him.

I have photos of the 4 or 5 armed officers with their dog in tow in my backyard. For some reason IRead More couldn't upload the pix. The streets were blocked off by lapd cars south of Ventura, at Hazeltine and Stansbury avenue. They made us stay inside for At least two hours. We never heard if they caught the tan shirt man or not. We felt well protected however
