Winners of Math Competition Announced, 471 Digits Remembered

The Pi Day winner gets a check for $314.

Charlie Mendes remembered 471 digits of the number pi.

That was for the Pi Day festivities at Millikan Middle School last week. The students were in a room with three judges as they rattled off as many of the infinite number of digits as they could.
