Notre Dame Football Faces a Traditional Rival Friday

Off to a strong start, Knights to put their undefeated streak on the line in Friday's game against Chaminade.

The Notre Dame High School football team faces a traditional rival Friday night when they play Chaminade. The Knights are off to a strong start, having racked up only victories so far this season.

The Friday night game is being played on Yom Kippur. West Hills Chaminade is a Catholic school, with more than 100 Jewish students. As a result, Chaminade expects to be without several players for the game.

Notre Dame Coach Kevin Rooney talked about the upcoming game in this accompanying video from Sherman Oaks Patch Editor Doug Kriegel.
