I agree with Chuck. Besides, it just looks like a convenient way to take the business away from the independent dealers and give it to pharmacies and the medical establishment. Figures.

Carmen, you can take time ad effort to propose a law to ban all medical marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles—yet you do nothing in regards to Illegal aliens driving without a license and you are going to let them off the hook for 30 day impound when they get pulled over~~!! You are a disgrace to the Honest Hard Working ""Legal"" Citizens of this City. Go Pound Sand Carmen~~!!

Carmen, talk to your Mayor about going AFTER criminal illegals, they are not all innocent, as are US citizens, but US citizens don't get the breaks, even if we can't afford a fine, etc....yes indeed concentrate on medical MJ, if you enforced the City rules tried to eliminate the rogue stores you might reduce the #'s alot...this City needs to enforce laws equally, crime come from US & illegal aliens, but the Mayor's plan assists illegal thugs as well,.....like the 2-3 pieces of sheet who shot the kid in NoHo protecting his grandfather, I guess it`s more important to have illegals get some immunities - i.e. allowed to drive without licenses AND insurance huh! Also, I feel so much safer the City of L.A> has banned the sale of ammo @ many local SFV gun/sporting goods stores to prevent crime, yes gangsters wont travel for bullets (!) no it prevents the law abiders & US citizens from 2nd amendment rights...both NoHo suspects are illegals & I bet they don't have driver's licenses either & the news says they dove to & away from the robbery/murder- then shot the poor kid as he walked up to their SUV!! Both prior deported gangsters, it would be interesting to see if they were ever stopped for being unlicensed drivers but allowed to keep their SUV!!
