Traffic Impact of Major Development

The Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association claims a proposed major development would add to the morning and evening traffic jams at the intersection of Sepulveda and Ventura Boulevards.

The following announcement, sent out by the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association, is a reminder of a meeting on Thursday, March 15, of the Land Use Committee of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council.

The hearing will take at the Il Villaggio Toscano project proposed to be built from the Sherman Oaks Galleria to the 101 Freeway (west side of Sepulveda Boulevard.)

Are you concerned about the traffic conditions at Ventura and Sepulveda Blvds.?

The Land Use Committee of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council is meeting this Thursday evening (March 15) at 6:30 pm at the Adult Center at the Sherman Oaks Park (5060 Van Nuys Blvd.).  They will be reviewing the Il Villaggio Toscano (IVT) project proposed to be built from the Galleria to the 101 Freeway (west side of Sepulveda Blvd.).  The project violates a large number of City requirements and limits?

The developer (M. David Paul) is proposing 55,000 sq. ft. of commercial and 413 rental apartments 8 stories high.  For further information, click here to see our summary.   The project will add thousands of additional automobile trips to the already crowded and often gridlocked streets near the project.
