Around 1,000 Department of Water and Power customers in Sherman Oaks were without electricity today for about four hours, according to City News Service.
A resident said service began to be restored at about 11:15 a.m.
Traffic signals failed and about 1,000 Department of Water and Power customers in Sherman Oaks are without electricity today, a utility spokesperson said.
The power outage occurred at 7:22 a.m., said DWP spokesman Albert Rodriguez.
He said it was not immediately known when power would be restored.
Traffic signals on Van Nuys Boulevard at Ventura Boulevard were inoperative, according to a CNS reporter there.
