'Pothole Lottery' Winners to Be Revealed

Priorities for filling potholes to be announced Tuesday night at neighborhood meeting.

A committee of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council will reveal at a meeting Tuesday night which street potholes identified by local residents will be filled.

An opinion poll conducted by the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council gave residents a chance to voice their views, and the large number of potholes turned out to be the major concern among those surveyed.

In what was called a "pothole lottery," residents were then invited to submit their suggestions for the worst potholes in town. Now the council's Neighborhood Services Committee is ready to announce which potholes are to be fixed.
