This advisory was issued by the detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys Division.
Several late-model Honda and Toyota vehicles have been stolen in the Van Nuys Division. Van Nuys area detectives suggest that these vehicles be parked in garages and/or in well lit areas. Other precautions, such as vehicle alarms, cut off switches and brake/steering column locks are also suggested.
And don't forget: "Lock It, Hide It, Keep It."
