Police Alert: South of the Boulevard

Recent residential burglaries south of Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks are a reminder to residents to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity in the neighborhood.

Police advisory to Sherman Oaks residents living south of Ventura Boulevard from Beverly Glen on the east to the San Diego Freeway on the west.

This is a reminder from Van Nuys Burglary Detectives for those residents living south of Ventura Boulevard from Beverly Glen to the 405 Freeway.  Although Van Nuys Patrol officers made a great arrest in your area over the past weekend, that suspect was NOT involved in the residential burglaries that have taken place in your area.

This suspect was breaking into vehicles, not homes. We remind you to be alert and keep an eye out for any suspicious activity in your area. Please keep all garages, door, and windows locked. Van Nuys detectives are working diligintly to apprehend the individuals involved in the burglaries in your area. Please make sue to join your Neighborhood Watch led by Senior Lead Officer Ron Carter.
