Police Cite Self-Defense in Pepper Spraying
Woman who pepper sprayed shoppers may not be charged in Walmart incident.
The shopper who pepper sprayed more than 12 people at Walmart in Porter Ranch on Thursday night has not been charged because police claim she may have fired in self-defense, according to the Los Angeles Daily News
The newspaper reported that detectives reviewed videos of the shopper stampede and have concluded that the 32-year-old woman may have feared for her life.
