Kitchen Fire Damages House on Christmas Day
The fire took place in the Sherman Oaks hills.
On Christmas day, Firefighters put out a kitchen fire at a one-story home in the hills above Sherman Oaks, a fire official said.
Firefighters were dispatched to 3440 Vista Haven Road at 2:53 p.m. and had the fire out 19 minutes of their arrival, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
No injuries were reported. A cause of the fire and damage estimates were under investigation.
