Firefighters Make Quick Work of Kitchen Fire in Sherman Oaks
It took 34 firefighters 16 minutes to knock down the flames.
Firefighters made quick work today of a non-injury fire in the kitchen of a one-story home in Sherman Oaks.
The fire at 14629 La Maida St. was reported at 7:38 p.m., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 34 firefighters 16 minutes to knock down the flames, which were confined to the home's kitchen he said.
