About 1,900 customers are without power Monday night between Ventura Bouelvard and Dickens Street in Sherman Oaks, according to a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power spokesperson.
Paul Krekorian's office from Council District 2 tweeted at 9:30 p.m. that the power should be restored by 11:30 p.m.
The customers have been without power since 5:38 p.m. It was first expected that the power would be returned by 9:30 p.m. but that deadline came and went.
No injuries or other problems are reported so far.
