Valley Alliance Discusses New Zoning Structure and More on Thursday

The Valley Alliance of Neighborhood Councils plan to meet to discuss some important local issues on Thursday evening, said Jill Banks Barad, the president of VANC, and the president of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council.

Barad will be absent from the meeting, but said, "We have many important issues to discuss including zoning changes in LA, the NC Plan Review recommendations, and a proposed reception for newly elected city officials. Cindy Cleghorn will conduct the meeting in my absence."

The meeting is a coalition of Valley neighborhood councils and anyone can attend. It is held Thursday, June 13, 6:30 p.m. at the Sherman Oaks Hospital Doctors  Conference Room, 4929 Van Nuys Blvd. Parking is available in the structure adjacent to the hospital.

Among the agenda items are:

·      Proposed NC Alliances’ City Hall Reception for newly elected city officials
