Where to Go on Valentine's Day in Sherman Oaks

Plenty of romantic spots are around town. If you have some suggestions, let us know!

Sherman Oaks is a pretty romantic place.

There's a nice stroll along Ventura Boulevard, through one of the malls, or a drive along Mulholland Drive.

You could shop for a cool gift at Presence Sherman Oak or you could do any of these things below.

If you know of something else, please add it in the COMMENTs below, or go to the CONTRIBUTE button on the bottom right of the front page and click ANNOUNCE TO EVERYONE and include photos and video, too.

Your local Jamba Juice is showing the love, too by offering 16-ounce smoothies this week between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m. through Feb. 15.  There is no coupon necessary. Jamba Juice is also a sponsor of the Team-Up for a Healthy America to fight childhood obesity.

There's a three-course meal for $50 a person at Il Tiramisu at 13705 Ventura Blvd., and there's some nice coq a vin at Le Petit at 13360 Ventura Blvd. and duck confit at Mistral at 14016 Ventura Blvd.

Careful about going into a massage parlor for a nice back rub or foot massage, because NCIS: LA is filming at one this week! You may be walking into a TV shoot.

Click on the names of the restaurants for Valentine's Day specials at the Nesmon Cafe  or  Sweet Butter Kitchen   (and another MDF fave from way back) is already full of Valentine’s romance.  Get an early start and check out V-Day merchandise, including sweet gifts and baked treats.

For sweet cookies and cakes, check out Mrs. Fields Cookies, La Galette, Four 'N 20 Restaurant Grill & Bakery, Buttercelli Bakeshop and Pin-Up Pastries.

When you needs some flowers, check out A Touch of Romance, Sherman Oaks Florist, Mulberry Row, Ruzanna's Flower Shop, Spring Flowers & Gifts, Valley Flower, Artistic Flowers, Jasmine Blue Flowers Plants & Gifts or the newly reopened Mark's Garden.
