Welcome to the New Ventura Blvd

No longer do residents have to watch their step as they travel along Ventura Blvd. After years of wear and tear, renovations are finally complete! The New Ventura Blvd. comes with a repaved road, tree trimmings, and bus pads.

City Council Member Tom LaBonge, along with his staff, worked diligently with the local community including the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce to make sure that the safety of everyone who utilizes one of LA’s major thoroughfares was made priority. To minimize the impact on businesses and commuters, this $1 million dollar investment was limited to overnights and weekends. Thanks to everyone’s due diligence, support, and patience this project was completed on schedule.

Congratulations to the community on an updated look to a familiar place. To fully experience the changes, mark your calendars for Sunday, October 20, 2013 and join us for the 23rd Annual Sherman Oaks Street Fair.
