Photo Exhibit, Artist Talk and Book Signing

No Roses Gallery in Sherman Oaks is pleased to present To Bring In The Money, an exhibition of outstanding photographs of the iconic Lucky Cat by New York City photographer Sheri Lynn Behr. There will be an artist talk and book signing on June 25 from 6-9pm. The exhibit will run until August 31st.

Sheri Lynn Behrʼs photographs in this exhibit are portraits of the Lucky Cat, also known as Maneki Neko or Beckoning Cat, and are accompanied at the gallery by her book LUCKY CATS, which includes many of the images on exhibit. “To Bring In The Money” is the second of Behrʼs projects to focus on this iconic figure, whose purpose is to attract customers and good fortune. Most of the photographs in the exhibition were taken in New York, but Lucky Cats from Los Angeles and other cities in the US are represented as well.

No Roses Gallery features original work from independent, small-batch artists, photographers, jewelry designers and master crafters.
