Two More Suspected Coyote Attacks

Residents suspect the two fatal attacks on cats this week were the result of coyote attacks.

Sherman Oaks resident Sage Leigh notified Sherman Oaks Patch that two fatal attacks on cats this week appear to have been caused by coyotes.

In an email, Leigh claimed the remains of a white cat were found on a lawn in the 13900 block of Morrison Street on Monday August 22.

One day earlier, the remains of a small gray and white cat were found on the 4900 block of Stern Avenue.

This brings to four the number of fatal attacks on cats believed to have been done by coyotes in residential areas of Sherman Oaks the past month.
