More than $10,000 stolen from the Cafe Bizou. Many local people take part in Occupy LAUSD protest.

An after hours burglary at the Cafe Bizou netted the burglar more than $10,000. Police have surveillance photos and video of the burglar whom they believe is a transient. "The guy won the lottery," said Los Angeles Police Detective Mike O'Conner,"the restaurant usually doesn't keep a lot of cash on hand.

Another major story involved the large group of people who took part in the Occupy LAUSD protest that began with a march at the spot where Occupy LA is taking place at Los Angeles City Hall.
