Why Go: This event is a great way to spend some quality time with family while viewing great works of art.

Skirball Architecture and Gardens Tour

Where/When: Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles; 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Spend some time outside and enjoy the beautiful architecture that the Skirball has to offer from the renowned architect Moshe Safdie.  The campus is recognized for it’s sensitivity to the surrounding environment and always offers kid-friendly exhibits on Sundays such as the Houdini tour. 

Pricing: Included with Museum admission.  No reservations required. 

 

Vanessa Jourdan Trio

Where/When: Sherman Oaks Galleria, 15301-15303 Ventura Blvd.; 12-2:30 p.m.

Why Go: Take your father out for a nice brunch and live music on his special day, and celebrate all our dads do for us.

Pricing: No entrance fee.

 

Summer Karaoke Contest

Where/When: The Oaks Tavern, 13625 Moorpark St., Sherman Oaks; 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Why Go: Each week there will be one winner that receives a $25 bar tab and then there will be a “sing off” at the end of the month.  The winner of the sing off will receive a $100 cash prize, as well as a $100 bar tab.
