Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold at Sherman Oaks Chevron Station

All five winning numbers, but not the Mega number, matched. The two winners will split $781,714.

A winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at Sherman Oaks Chevron, 14505 Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks.

It was one of two winning Mega Millions tickets in Friday night's drawing that were sold in Southern California, state Lottery officials said Saturday.

Both tickets matched all five winning numbers, but not the Mega number. The winners will split $781,714.

The other ticket was sold at Nady's Market, 25222 Charlinda Drive in Mission Viejo.

The numbers in Friday's multi-state Mega Millions draw were 31, 40, 41, 47, 48 and the Mega number was 45.

The estimated jackpot is $83 million, a California Lottery official said.

The drawing was the 10th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 40.

The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
