I’m a huge advocate of dog socialization.  Since Rufus was a mere pup, I have been hosting play dates with other dachshunds to ensure his well roundness and have remained
consistent with it over the years.  As I would host an assortment of doxies at my home, I soon became enamored with them.  I loved watching how they played with each other.  I was enthralled how they would rest, nestled together in some of the most interesting places and positions.  It wasn’t long before I took up a camera and started to photograph these play dates.  As the years went on I graduated from simple compact digital point and shoot cameras to a digital SLR, and today I’m a dachshund photographer. My photos are featured on www.rufusontheweb.com; visit us daily for your dose of doxies.
