Knights Return From Ireland, Focus on Taft

After Friday's victory over Hamilton of Chandler, AZ in Dublin, Ireland, the Notre Dame Knights have put their European trip behind them.

Apparently, jet lag is not on the list of concerns for the Sherman Oaks Notre Dame football team.

Having touched down Sunday night, one day after a Friday victory over Hamilton of Chandler, AZ in Dublin, Ireland, the Knights were back on the practice field on Monday.

The Knights will take on Woodland Hills Taft on Friday night, and enter that game with a record of 1-1, their first loss of the season coming at the hands of Gardena Serra on Aug. 24 by a score of 26-23.

The Knights' trip to Ireland was not without headaches, as about 40 team members missed a connecting flight from London to Ireland on Tuesday afternoon of last week.

In addition, Khalfani Muhammad, the Knights' starting running back and Notre Dame track and field star, suffered a rib injury in Friday's win. He is questionable for the Knights' upcoming game.
