Supervisor Candidates Debate at SOHA Meeting Wednesday evening
Former State Senator Sheila Kuehl and former Santa Monica City Councilman Bobby Shriver will be featured at the Sherman Oaks Homeowner’s Association meeting tomorrow, Wednesday April 16. As always, all residents of Sherman Oaks are welcome.
The Debate between the two leading candidates to replace our termed out County Board of Supervisor Zev Yaroslavky will be hosted by political reporter Dave Bryan of CBS Channel 2 and KCAL Channel 9. This will be a terrific opportunity to see and hear the candidates in a small and inviting setting, ask your questions and speak with them personally.
In addition, Congressman Brad Sherman, representing us in Washington, will be at the meeting and will be making some comments regarding national news. Representatives of other elected officials and our local police officers will also give us updates on what is happening in our area.
The “Social Hour” begins at 6:15, when dinner will be served by Whole Foods Market, and is included in the nominal charge of $5 for SOHA members and $7 for nonmembers for attendance. The speakers and information portion of the meeting will begin at 7:15.
Notre Dame High School at Riverside and Woodman. Parking is available on the street and in the rear of the school.
