JOHNNY is hoping to go lightly into a loving home
In the picture are two dolls. Although they look similar, the one on the left is probably resting on a cushy bed while the other is likely struggling to find a comfortable spot to rest in a cement cage.
Fortunately, Johnny (A1422664), the real doll, was able to feel the grass beneath his paws when he spent last Sunday at the mobile pet adoption. But he is a senior (12-years-young, per the shelter), so his chance of feeling anything other than cement is slim, because most people are looking for a puppy.
Johnny reportedly entered the East Valley shelter as a stray on September 7. His kennel card identifies him as a Min. Poodle. Observing him at the mobile adoption, it was evident that he still has pep in his step, he was good on leash, and he was loving towards everyone and the other dogs, too.
The East Valley shelter is at 14409 Vanowen, Van Nuys, CA; 818-756-9323/4. Please consider adopting Johnny so he may soon have a cushy bed to curl up on.
