The Gold Card desk at Los Angeles Traffic Enforcement expedites and systematically dismisses parking tickets. The day before Benjamin Netanyahu was scheduled to arrive on a state visit President Obama laid an egg with his call for Israel to return to pre 1967 boarders with Palestine. Netanyahu was furious.
The two men later appeared at a joint news conference where Obama glossed over the differences between the two leaders. By contrast Netanyahu was direct in publically lecturing the president on why the President proposal was a bad idea and would not happen. While Netanyahu spoke the President scowled, looking every bit Nixonian.

The President damaged his image and Democrat campaign fund raising hopes for 2012. Jewish donors now have two options to giving to Democrats: they can withhold contributions or, worse yet donate to Republicans. This was a bad week for the President all the way around.

California’s unemployment dropped a little in April but do you feel it? Companies believe that Sacramento neither understands or nor cares about problems facing small businesses owners. That is why they are not hiring. The legislators are so clueless, they are considering backfilling local budget cuts by approving local income taxes. Is this their way of stimulating the job market, really?
We will continue with unemployment at record levels for two more years. If you have a good job, don’t worry. But if you are unemployed, graduating high school or college or reentering the job market, be prepared to move to where the jobs are, including out of state.
