Ticket Fixing Scandal Angering Residents

A member of Rep. Howard Berman's staff was allegedly able to get a traffic citation dismissed, while others who were ticketed had to pay fines.

Fred Flores, Rep. Howard Berman's community relations director, was allegedly able to get a traffic ticket dismissed in a situation where others who committed a  similar violation had to pay fines of more than $200, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

A video on YouTube shows that Flores, who was issued the ticket for running a stop sign, came out of his SUV and argued with the officer.

The video, titled "San Fernando Police Exposed" alleges that the acting San Fernando Police Chief Lt. Jeffery Eley allegedly made the traffic ticket disappear for Berman's political-aide.
