Sherman Oaks Homeowners Hosts Toy Giveaway with Community Leaders

Guests include Wendy Greuel, Zev Yaroslavsky, Tom LaBonge, Eric Garcetti, Jan Perry and many more.

The Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association sponsored its 14th Annual Toy Drive at Gelson's Market in Sherman Oaks On Sunday. It was an overwhelming success thanks to the outpouring of the community and our many politicians who all brought unwrapped toys for the kids. The toys received filled two huge vans from the Department of Children & Family Services.

They will distribute these toys to needy children at a party on Dec 16. These are probably the only toys & gifts the children receive at all. Toys for them can still be dropped off at Goodway Printing,  15121 Ventura  Blvd.

Santa was there to greet folks and Gelson's provided delicious refreshments throughout the event and SOHA thanked them for allowing this very special event in their parking lot.
