Resurfacing on Laurel Canyon Begins Monday

The Studio City Residents Association warns locals about the potential driving problems.

The Studio City Residents Association issued a warning to residents over the weekend that a two-week long job to resurface Laurel Canyon Boulevard will begin Monday.

Los Angeles Councilman Paul Krekorian also issued a warning and said that beginning on Monday, the resurfacing will go from Magnolia Boulevard to Ventura Boulevard.

The project is slated to last until Nov. 10 and is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day work will be done. No work will be performed on Sunday, though crews will be out there Saturday, Nov. 3 and Nov. 10.

The southbound traffic will be restricted to two lanes and one lane for northbound during rush hour. And, after peak hours the traffic will be restricted to one lane in either direction.

Whew, I was worried for a second, but since it just goes from Magnolia to Ventura, I'll be okay. ;D

You live in Krekorians district!! He likes his little surprises as well as his impositions on the citizens. Google "Colfax curbs controversy"
