Patch Is Collecting Questions for Obama and Romney During the Next Presidential Debate

If you have a question for the candidates, submit it in the comments section below and it could be asked during the televised Oct. 16 Town Hall Presidential Debate.

If last Wednesday’s presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.

The next presidential debate will be a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island, where voters will ask President Obama and Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.

Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.

All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates. The Commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.

Don’t wait until Nov. 6 to have a say in this year’s election. Share your thoughts in the comments!

Mr. Gold, To paraphrase Dr. Phil in a question to BOB, "How's that bowing to a Saudi King working for you?". The outside the U.S. "I'm a Muslim" and "I love the sound of the Call to Prayer" statements were designed to garner "kinship" and "brotherhood", How's that working for you Mr. President? It got our ambassador and three other Americans killed. We clearly need new strong leadership. What we have had for four years isn't working and we can't stand four more just like it.

Suzye, Yes, of course you may quote me. Thank God we stil have our basic freedoms which entitle us to use our brains to figure out what is working for our country, what will make us strong and independent again, and what will drain us and drag us down to being a third-world country. Nothing going on now is working in our favor. We need a lean LIMITED government as described in the Constitution -- not a Nanny State where we are being pushed around and told what to drive, what to eat and what to think. It was independence and free enterprise that made our nation great. We don't need to be protected from salt, sugar and soda! We need to be protected from maniac terrorists who want to destroy us!

Thank you for permission to quote you. The two of us have a lot in common!! Love of our Great Nation's future being extremely high on our list.

Mr. President, If it's not safe for the FBI to enter Benghazi to look for evidence regarding the destruction of our embassy and the murder of our ambassador and three other brave American souls. Why not temporarily close all of our embassies in the volatile regions of the middle east, stop all aid and bring home all Americans working on our behalf? The number one job of our president is to protect the American people.

Why was security at the Benghazi consulate outsourced to a British company who then outsourced it to a group of local Libyans with no fire power?
