VIDEO: Meet State Assembly Candidates

The candidate forum put on by the Valley Industry and Commerce Association gives people a first look at the four candidates who say they are running for the State Assembly district that includes Sherman Oaks.

Most of the local political attention so far this year has focused on the race between Rep.Howard Berman and Rep. Brad Sherman who are running to represent a large part of the San Fernando Valley in Congress.

However, the race to fill the new assembly seat that will represent Sherman Oaks in Sacramento has not received much news coverage. The four candidates are Brian Johnson, Adrin Nazarian, Laurette Healey, and Andrew Lachman. Subjects covered include taxes, budget, health care, pension reform, and education.
