Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Koretz, who represents part of Sherman Oaks, says he opposes an attempt by City Attorney Carmen Trutanich to shut down medical marijuana dispensaries in the city.

Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich told Sherman Oaks Patch that he has 20 lawyers on his staff working on legal cases against medical marijuana dispensaries. City Councilman Jose Huizar also has called for shutting down the dispensaries.
