Hearing on Major Development Thursday

Thursday night the Land Use Committee of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council will hold a hearing on the proposed Il Villagio Toscana development.

The largest proposed development in Sherman Oaks, Il Villagio Toscana, will be the subject of a hearing Thursday night at the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council's Land Use Committee.

The proposed development, by M. David Paul, would create more than 400 - dwelling units on 5-acres of property at the corner of Sepulveda Boulevard and Camarillo Street.

A large crowd is expected to attend the hearing which will be held at the Sherman Oaks/East Valley Senior Center, 5056 Van Nuys Boulevard. People will be encouraged to express their opinions about the project.

The meeting starts at 6:30p.m., Thursday February 16. Hearing will be chaired by Ronald Ziff, chairman of the SONC Land Use Committee
