Clooney has recently been a bit more public about his house in the Fryman Canyon area, and his live-in girlfriend is seen often jogging in the area.

Clooney met up with the president in the White House last month, and that's when the plans were made for the 150 guests at the $40,000-a-plate party planned for May 10.

DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg is also co-hosting the event.

The Oscar-winning actor who owned homes in Studio City for nearly two decades, told Entertainment Tonight, "I'm proud to do whatever I can to support the President... as long as no one asks me to sing."

The money will benefit the Obama Victory fund, a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.

Saved the American Auto Industry, passed Health Care reform, captured Bin Laden, ended Iraq war, started economic recovery, the list goes on - you call that failure? All that with strong opposition from the Just Say NO Party.

If I can get invited I could ask Mr Clooney to spend a little time and his "hard earned" money helping the starving people in his own industry. Not as glamorous as the starving people in Africa. I know! Maybe George can get a 99 Cent store built in Studio City!

Yeah sure, can't I have to pay for my health insurance. Obamacare is like a wish list for the insurance Co., not for people or doctors. Should have made it w/MediCare available for all. Instead Blue+ can still pay it's CEO $20M, run with a 23% administrative profit while MeiCare is about <3%....How can the GOP compare this gov't program that is more EFFICIENT than the private sektor.....?? Clooney my boy why not @ your Villa on Lake Como, POTUS could get a free flight there!
