Video: Eric Garcetti Announces Plans to Run for Mayor
Garcetti joins City Controller Wendy Greuel and Councilwoman Jan Perry in the race. Other candidates expected to announce later this year.
Councilman Eric Garcetti announced Thursday that he will run for mayor of Los Angeles.
He filed the required paperwork Thursday morning; earlier this year, Garcetti talked to Sherman Oaks Patch Editor Doug Kriegel about the mayors race- in this accompanying video.
