Berman and Sherman Seek Hollywood Support
Battle over the Sherman Oaks Congressional seat has both democrats lining up endorsements and money.
This week, both Valley Congresmen Brad Sherman and Howard Berman released names of prominent democrats who are lining up to support their compaigns for the newly drawn congressional seat in the West San Fernando Valley.
The race for that one seat has been dubbed,"battle of the titans, since both men are veterans with many years of representing voters in places like Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Encino, and elsewhere. Now they are locked in an election fight against each other, a situation that both democrats have decried.
Both candidates are scrambling to raise money and generate endorsements. The Hollywood and Valleywood communities are being targeted by both men according to Kevin Roderick, in the site LA Observed.
