One adult and two children had to be pulled from a Toyota Camry that crashed into a tree on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Sherman Oaks, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The solo-vehicle crash near Victory Boulevard was reported at 4:56 p.m., said LAFD spokesman Erik Scott.

The vehicle's occupants were hospitalized with unknown injuries, he said.
