Two Injured in Multi-Car Crash on 405 in Sherman Oaks

All northbound lanes of the 405 were closed until 8:35 p.m.

Two people were injured in a multiple-vehicle crash Thursday night on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Sherman Oaks.

The crash was reported at 7:23 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway just south of Ventura Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two people were taken to a hospital for treatment, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department. One was in serious condition and the other in good condition, she said.

The crash closed all northbound lanes of the freeway at the crash scene, she said.

All lanes were reopened by around 8:35 p.m., according to the CHP.
