SUV Smashes Into Furniture Store Window

The two front windows of The Nest furniture store were shattered when a Chevy SUV smashed into the store-front.

The two front windows of The Nest furniture at the corner of Woodman Avenue and Ventura Boulevard were smashed when a white Chevy sports utility vehicle crashed into the store at about 10:15p.m. Tuesday night.

The man and woman inside the SUV were not injured according to store owner Henry Wong, who was cleaning up the broken glass just before midnight.

"I don't know what happened, I just got a call and came down here and saw the SUV had crashed into the store," said Wong.

"They did not appear to be drunk," added Wong.

 A large pile of shattered glass was on the ground in front of the store at 13641 Ventura Boulevard.

 A  tow-truck pulled the vehicle out of the store-front and hauled it away.
