Police Urge Victims to Retrieve Stolen Items

As a part of the "Knock-Knock Burglars" investigation, police are looking to return stolen items to burglary victims.

Detectives today urged burglary victims to visit the LAPD West Valley Station's home page to determine if any of their property is among more than 3,000 watches and pieces of jewelry recently recovered by investigators.

Some of the recovered items have been tied to burglaries in the Encino and Tarzana areas, but others may have been taken in burglaries in other parts of the Southland in the past two or three years, according to police.

The recovery was part of an ongoing investigation into the "Knock-Knock Burglars," police said.
