The following crimes in Van Nuys were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department from September 24-29, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Sept. 24

An aggravated assault was reported at 5:40 a.m. at Sepulveda Boulevard and Lanark Street.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 8 a.m. in the 15900 block of Strathern Street.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at noon in the 8700 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard.

A theft was reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 6100 block of Sepulveda Boulevar.

A grand theft auto was reported at 2 p.m. in the 7100 block of Van Nuys Boulevard.

An aggravated assault was reported at 2:20 p.m. in the 14400 block of Vose Street.

A theft was reported at 2:30 p.m at Sherman Way and Van Nuys.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 3 p.m. in the 7800 block of Haskell Avenue.

A theft was reported at 4 p.m. at Sepulveda Boulevard and Sherman Way.

Don't worry Sherman Oaks Residents...if Chief Charlie Beck and LAPD catch these culprits and they happen to be Illegal Aliens (LAPD won't turn over some illegal immigrants, Chief Charlie Beck announces)..he'll release them .......:) ,
