Police Update: Child Annoying Suspect on Valley Vista

This police alert was issued by Senior Lead officers in the LAPD's Van Nuys Division.

Community: **Van Nuys Senior Lead Officers/LAPD** has an important message for you! **Possible Child Annoying Suspect**.

 A Child Annoying suspect was seen yesterday , at approximately 1:15 p.m. in the area of Valley Vista Boulevard and Camino De La Cumbre. This suspect was seen in a Black late model BMW SUV with tinted windows. He is described as a male, Hispanic with dark skin, 30-40 years of age with a significant scar along the left side of his face, running down to his chin. He was wearing a cowboy hat with a folded-down front brim, and had a thin moustache. This suspect followed the youth, there was no physical or verbal contact with the young victim, who fled quickly to his residence. This appears to be possibly related to an unreported incident from Tuesday, March 27th at the Roscomare Elementary School in West Los Angeles Division. There have been no additional reports in the Van Nuys area. Please do not be confrontational, but rather try to obtain a license plate from a safe distance and immediately call Police if this same suspect is seen with this same described vehicle.
