Neighborhood Watch Alert: Recent Residential Burglaries

This email from a Sherman Oaks neighborhood watch in the area north of the 101 freeway.

Dear Neighbors,

A neighbor on Murietta near Burbank was burglarized twice (Jan 9 and Jan 16 -- both after 7p.m.) while she was out of her house.  The police are asking for the help of anyone who might have seen suspicious people or activities in the area.

The burglar(s) are suspected to have entered through a dog door in the back.  The dogs were not home on either cccasion.  Since the incidents, the neighbor has had an alarm system installed.

If you observed anything that might be helpful, please let me or the police know (SLO Cubunoc 818-731-2560 or 25170@lapd.lacity.org )   Without unduly alarming you (hopefully) this may serve as a reminder to be alert and lock your doors (inclucing dog doors) and windows.  Please don't bombard me with questions right now, as I have put everything I know into this email.  I will inform you if I learn anything further.
