Nail Salon at Corner of Van Nuys and Magnolia Boulevards Robbed at Gunpoint
Purses are taken from people inside the salon during the takeover-type robbery, police say.
Police reported that a Sherman Oaks-area nail salon was robbed Thursday afternoon by a man with a handgun, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
Purses were reportedly taken from victims inside the salon during the takeover-type robbery, police said, and the robber was described as a black man with dark clothes, according to the Daily News.
It was not immediately clear if the robbery was related to two other robberies of nail salons that took place in Burbank in July, according to NBC Los Angeles.
