Man Pleads 'No Contest' in 2 Home Burglaries

The burglaries happened in Van Nuys and North Hollywood.

A 20-year-old man pleaded no contest Wednesday to burglarizing two San Fernando Valley homes on the same day.

Van Nuys Superior Court Judge Michael Kellogg immediately sentenced Ryeheem Evans Johnson to seven years in state prison.

The charges stemmed from March 29, 2012, break-ins at homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys -- the latter of which was caught on video.
