A 61-year-old male nurse was arrested by Los Angeles Police Department officers on suspicion of committing a sex act on a female corpse at Sherman Oaks Hospital, according to multiple media reports.
Sherman Oaks Hospital declined to comment, according to KNBC.
Alejandro Razo was arrested on Sunday, said Officer Cleon Joseph of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section. Razo is a male nurse from Reseda, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Someone called police to report the alleged act, Joseph said.
Razo was booked at the Van Nuys jail and was released today after posting $20,000 bail, according to online Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department records.
Razo is due in court in Van Nuys on Feb. 11, according to the sheriff's department.
