LAPD Asks for Public's Help in Finding Teen's Killer
Robert Rizo suffers multiple stab wounds at a party in Van Nuys.
Los Angeles police detectives asked the public's help Tuesday in finding the killer of a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed on Sunday in Van Nuys and died Monday.
Around 1 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a radio call of a fight in progress in the 15700 block of Sherman Way in Van Nuys. They saw a large crowd, and witnesses directed them to a boy on the ground.
Robert Rizo had suffered multiple stab wounds to the upper body and he was taken to a hospital where he survived surgery, but remained in extremely critical condition. He died on Monday from his injuries.

Detectives believe that Rizo had attended a party where a fight broke out. He was attacked by several suspects, one of whom armed himself with a knife and stabbed Rizo.
