House Fire Put Out Quickly

Nobody injured in the house fire which brought a rapid response from Los Angeles City firefighters.

A fire that broke out just after 3:00 p.m. Friday at 4760 Halbrent Avenue in Sherman Oaks was brought under control in about 15 minutes.

Rescuers arriving at the location reported smoke showing from the single-family home, according to Matt Spence of the Los Angeles City Fire Department. Nobody was injured in the blaze, people inside the home were able to get out in time.

Twenty nine firefighters responded to the fire. Cause of the blaze is under investigation.
