Hate Crime Victim Praises Cops

Jennifer Nimon was one of the residents who discovered a swastika on her home, she has good things to say about the police follow up investigation.

This is an email that Jennifer Nimon sent to Sherman Oaks Patch. Nimon was one of the residents on Leghorn Avenue who discovered that a swastika had been drawn on her home. Ms. Nimon's grandparents died in the holocaust.

Hi Doug - just a word about the men in blue - Van Nuys division police have been WONDERFUL with the follow up of the hate crime on Leghorn, we've personally been visited 3 times by different officers, detectives and liaisons. Today the Chaplain coordinator of LAPD VN division came by, he also organizes the Neighborhood Watch groups, what a nice man, S.L.O. Ron Carter, yesterday was Det. Ashley...I am very impressed with LAPD VN division!
thanks,
